Fading Lines
Our dreamiest release — stacked harmonies dissolving like tide lines, for everyone redrawing the shoreline of who they are.
Fading Lines was built from forty vocal takes layered into a single glowing chord — our advanced harmony class singing the same line until individual voices disappeared into one.
Shimmering guitars, reversed piano and a slow-blooming synth mirror the lyric: the lines we draw between past and future selves, and how singing smudges them. The bridge drops to a single unprocessed voice — the first take our youngest student ever recorded.
It closes every Harbor Lights showcase. By the final chorus, the audience is singing it back.
From the Song
watch the water take it in —
every ending that you sing
is where you begin.”
Stack Your Own Harmony.
Our harmony course teaches you to blend, layer and disappear beautifully into the chord.
